this is what came out of my pencil today after lunch. It could be a marsupial?

This is a rough painting of a page in the book. the colors are not exact, and I haven't gone back over the ink. I did learn that while the thin line pen I used is fantastic, it is not waterproof. Oops. Well I know now. There is some salt in the background. The image that will be on the preceding page will be them on a playground with a bunch of children around. In their imagination they of course become aliens.  Hope you are enjoying this, I am having a good time trying to work it out. Any comments are welcomed.

This would be the preceding image of Parcell and Sounder while imagining they are racing through space. I will of course redo the image and paint it, make two of the machines and place both pigs in them.

this is a sample page from Parcell and Sounder Adventure Pigs.  One version of the story has them riding the space ships outside of a grocery store pretending to zoom through space, the other actually has them in space. I am not sure which version will result, although I am leaning towards the grocery store.

I am pretty sure their first foray into adventure will be space. Here is a sketch that was floating around in my head. Enjoy. The gun would be a watergun.

Over the next couple of months I hope to provide many sketches and finished versions of some original characters. The two on the forefront are of course Parcell and Sounder. Both are pigs and are a lot of fun to draw right now.
